C3 Launches New Interactive Website
Relationships with customers and business partners are top priority. That is how C3 Corporation of Appleton, Wisconsin approaches everyday business. That business philosophy drove the company to aggressively upgrade their website to better serve clients, vendors, and other business partners. “Our website was pretty cutting edge when we first built it, but it had no expandable features. We are an engineering firm that provides high tech innovation and solutions, our website needed that as well,” said Marv Wall, VP of Financial Operations at C3.
The project went out for bid to four very capable web design firms in July. B2 Computing of Appleton won the final project because of their relational approach to site design and their video production capabilities. “C3 and B2 - seemed like a perfect fit! C3 is a dynamic engineering firm, constantly innovating and finding new solutions to manufacturing challenges. We needed the website to do the same thing,” said Tricia Propson, owner of Cornerstone Communications, the marketing firm that is managing the project.
B2 Computing has proven to be the perfect fit to build the new website. They implemented , a dynamic content management system, to power the site, create interactivity, and provide a user-friendly approach to website updates and changes. Through this new foundation, C3 will be able to increase e-marketing, social network integration, and SEO reporting features. The new site will also enable C3 to provide interactive project management features for their clients. The site has some new features like a powerful search engine, project videos, and media galleries, but also includes fun features like personable team biographies and a unique timeline. New technologies will be added as the site grows.
A customized App Center offers streamlined processes for guest usage and a secure log in area will help manage complex details of projects. When interviewing clients and business associates about what they wanted from the new site, C3 found that search ability was a key factor. “C3 provides cutting edge technology and we hope to use the website as a place to post white papers, project animations, and industry information for use by C3 clients, vendors, and other associates,” Propson said. The goal was to create something new, dynamic, and productive to live up to C3’s branding statement, “Innovative manufacturing solutions that drive business.” Everyone involved hopes that the new site will do that.
“The new website will be an operational hub for everything we do. Our customers are the best and they deserve the best we have to offer. We hope this changes the way we do business with them,” says Joe Van De Hey, President of C3.
