Meet John, C³’s New Vice President Of Operations

As C3 grows, we’ve placed precedence on hiring key management positions to help facilitate our business structure. One of these crucial roles was in operations. As we grow, we need to guarantee we can meet delivery promises while maintaining the safety of our team and the quality of our equipment.

We’re excited to announce the hire of John Deitrich as VP of Operations. This position will serve C3 as a leader in managing our procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and installation teams to fulfill customer orders. John’s extensive experience across manufacturing, engineering, product development, and supply chain management will allow C3 to scale our processes to support our growing business.

John will manage both the Venture manufacturing facility and C3’s newest location, the Marshall manufacturing facility. The third warehousing facility will also be under his direction. All facilities are in Appleton, WI.

John spent 28 years of his career at Kimberly-Clark Corporation where he served in a number of roles culminating in the role of Vice President of Global Manufacturing. Here he was responsible for the strategic direction of K-C’s global manufacturing network, including designing and executing restructuring projects to achieve cost and performance standards. In roles prior, John has been involved with nearly every step of a product’s conception to launch into the market for notable brands across the consumer tissue and personal care product categories.

“I am excited to be at C3 and be part of a company that truly values their people and sees them as an essential asset,” he says. “I will be working to foster exceptional customer service to our clients by executing our designs to the highest degree of quality while keeping our employees and our clients’ employees safe. It is a relentless pursuit of continuing to improve, innovate and reduce our execution costs to better meet our customers’ needs.”

Joe Van De Hey, C3’s CEO, describes the need for the position and his excitement in bringing John to the team: “John’s experience in the tissue market for a Fortune 100 company sparked interest for me as he’s been exposed to many standards, experiences, and challenges. I could feel his anticipation for the role and figured he was ready for something special that we could offer him. Selfishly, he will free me from the day-to-day needs in operations and serve as a mentor to this team and their potential. C3 is lucky to have a person with such experiences, knowledge, and most of all his good nature. He suits our culture.”
