As we’ve grown with the foam and mattress industry, we’ve invested back into our engineering department, developing better processes to help our engineers stay focused on our machine designs. To support this department and help them stay organized as we continue to scale, we’re adding an Engineering Department Coordinator to the team.
While you’ll work most closely with our engineering department, you’ll frequently interact with areas like Purchasing and Sales as well. You’ll spend a lot of time using our ERP system for tasks like data entry and work order/bill of materials generation. You’ll also monitor incoming sales and production schedules to maintain task lists for engineering. You’ll keep the team organized by taking care of behind-the-scenes details, allowing our engineers to stay focused on moving forward.
Because you’ll be so involved with everyone on the team, you’ll also help manage the department calendar for our engineering team leads as well as that of our CEO, Joe. They may ask you to help with some additional admin tasks, too. This is a supportive role and you’ll enjoy getting to know the whole team while facilitating their workflow and thus, our continued success.
