“Many of us share our passions with each other, which makes us closer and helps us work together, especially on projects involving multiple departments. I think that’s rare for manufacturing companies, and it’s something we all should be proud of creating at C3.” – Courtney, Business Development
We need another rep out in the foam and mattress industry sharing the C3 story.
We are an engineering firm designing and manufacturing equipment for the foam and mattress industry.
We’re ingrained in one of the most disruptive industries of the past few years. Our equipment allows mattresses to compress and roll into a bag or box for shipment. This innovation has revolutionized the bedding industry, especially for ecommerce. We’re one of a handful of OEMs in this field and it’s changing the way foam is manufactured, handled, shipped, and delivered to the hands of customers.
Oh yeah, and we are really proud of our team. So you’ll need to know who’s work you’re representing, too.
Day in the Life of an Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients within the Business Development team. You’ll be accountable for helping potential and current clients understand how C3 can help their business and rally the C3 team to service your clients as needed. You’re our ambassador – C3 is excited to support Account Managers, and Account Managers are excited to share our team’s work with the market.
The Business Development team is very integrated and you’ll enjoy the fun atmosphere and collaboration. You’ll often jive with marketing to attend tradeshows, offer market feedback, and appear in our infamous videos.
Account Managers are experts in:
- Picking up the phone
- Managing to KPIs and sales goals
- Interacting with people as a trusted, powerful communicator
- Aligning customer needs with C3 products and services
- Working a portfolio of clients and opening new accounts
We’re looking for someone with 5 years of technical sales background with a proven track record. They preferably have a four-year college degree, but it is not required. The Account Manager will be responsible for a range of domestic sales, and traveling up to 50% of the time state-side. They must be comfortable with CRM systems and used to documenting sales activity and generating paperwork in a software system.
Our Account Managers work with a number of different departments in our business. This means they need to be a clear communicator not only to our client, but also to the internal team. We count on our sales team to keep the business moving and our message out there. In turn, we like to celebrate success with them, too!
What It’s Like to Work at C3
Our facility and our staff have doubled in the past year. We’ve maintained our value of hard work and that culture has grown with us. We’re not your average manufacturing plant with dark workspaces and greasy handles. We’ve got finesse:
Our operations team is in the same facility as our business development team. You’ll be within a few steps of the machinery you’ll be selling and the people behind it. Some of your favorite days in the office will be on the floor showcasing these machines to prospective clients!
Help Us Advance Manufacturing for Foam and Mattress
We’re looking forward to meeting a motivated sales professional who wants to work within an integrated, driven team. We want to hire someone with a track record of sales success; who enjoys the pressure of capital equipment sales but understands the humanity of the process. Someone able to sell our equipment and the brains of our team with pride.
If this is you, introduce yourself. Show us you’re right for C3. Send along your resume and cover letter to tell your story, and be sure to include something cool you’re proud of.
